End User License Agreement

This agreement is between you and FlipPDF (“FlipPDF”, “we”, “us”) and covers your use of the FlipPDF software (“the Software”). By downloading or using the Software you accept these terms.

1. License. We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on any number of computers for personal or business use.
2. Restrictions. You may not sell, rent or sublicense the Software, or redistribute modified copies of it. FlipPDF includes open-source components (pdfcpu, PDF.js, go-webview2, Go x/image and x/text) that remain under their own licenses.
3. Your files. You keep all rights to the documents you open and create with the Software. You are responsible for having the right to convert or modify them.
4. No warranty. The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Keep a copy of important documents before converting them.
5. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of the Software.
6. Termination. This license ends automatically if you break these terms. On termination, delete all copies of the Software.

Privacy Policy

FlipPDF runs entirely on your computer.

• Your documents stay on your PC. Files are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
• No account, no tracking. The app collects no personal information, analytics or usage data.
• Local storage. Converted files are saved to the folder you choose (Documents\FlipPDF by default). The app's window engine keeps a small cache in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FlipPDF. Text to PDF uses the copy of Microsoft Edge already on your PC to lay out your text locally, with a temporary profile that is deleted after each conversion.
• This website serves its own fonts and images and makes no requests to third parties. Our web host may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, time of visit) to deliver downloads and protect against abuse.

Removing FlipPDF

FlipPDF has no installer. To remove it completely, delete FlipPDF.exe and the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\FlipPDF (paste that into File Explorer's address bar). Files you converted stay in Documents\FlipPDF until you delete them.
